Work is well underway on an exciting project we’re helping to create with our client VolkerFitzpatrick – 12 new warehouses in Tottenham & Hays. Once complete, the warehouses will provide approximately 240,000 sq ft of industrial space, including supplementary office space. Each unit will feature a mezzanine floor level, office space, breakout areas and amenities.
Our works on this project includes:
- Installation of all foundations for retaining walls, fire walls and portal frame warehouses
- Installation of all site finishes including kerbing, paving and slot drainage
- Installation of drainage, services and associated ducting
The project is set to become the greenest development of its kind in London. Demolished materials from the site will be reused in the new units sub-base. Recycling the materials will decrease the number of vehicular movements required to dispose of them, reducing the site’s overall carbon footprint that would have otherwise been increased through road mileage.
Each unit within the park will have exterior ‘green walls’ of foliage – helping purify the air, regulate the temperature, and promote biodiversity in the local area, as well as creating a more enjoyable surrounding for those working in and around the site. It will also create an environmentally-friendly and visually appealing view from White Hart Lane.
